Transforming the Equitable Commute Project into a standalone nonprofit “do-tank.”
CHALLENGE
The Equitable Commute Project (ECP) had succeeded as a multi-organization coalition but needed a durable organizational structure to expand programming, fundraise effectively, and deepen mission-driven impact.
APPROACH
Brightside led the full startup process—from strategic design, branding, and messaging to governance, program scoping, and fundraising. We set up the new organization (The E-Mobility Project), clarified its value proposition, developed priority workstreams, secured early partners, and positioned TEMP for long-term growth in the micromobility space.
